So I came here for a quick and tasty breakfast before going to gym and it turned into just a very long wait for my dish. And who has ample time in the morning on a weekday?! It's not my first time here and previous experiences were better but today I was not at all happy with the service.I was the first person to enter after they opened and ordered eggs benedict and an americano. Coffe came quickly and was very nice, full bodied and strong. The eggs however seemed to be a problem. I watched ever
I was the first person to enter after they opened and ordered eggs benedict and an americano. Coffe came quickly and was very nice, full bodied and strong. The eggs however seemed to be a problem. I watched everyone around me come, eat and leave for 35 minutes! And not a single time did the waitress try to tell me the dish is coming to make the wait seem shorter. I guess it was the hollandaise sauce that took so long. When the dish finally came I was a bit disappointed. The eggs were cooked well in terms of texture but there was a random piece of thread on on one of the eggs and the sauce was blunt, I'd expect a bit more for such a long wait.
All in all it was not a good start to the day. I think I will not be ordering eggs benedict here again and stick to my usual scrambled eggs.
