I was quite curious when I walked past this shop as their cuisine seemed to be a mix of various Asian cuisines (Hk, Chinese, Japanese, SEA) when usually Asian restaurants kinda just stick to one type of cuisine 😂 but a good thing is that we could both get the different cuisines we want from the same shop 😂 an all in one option 🤪We had their black hainanese chicken rice set and their Wagyu beef omelette rice. We had their black hainanese chicken rice set and their Wagyu beef omelette rice.
With the chicken rice, it was my first time eating black chicken rice and I still have no idea what the difference is between a black chicken and white chicken. 🤷🏻♀️ Their chicken rice isn’t like the usual chicken rice as their rice was more of a coconut rice and I could really smell the coconuts when I opened the lid 🤩🤩 best thing is that when you think that was great, adding the coconut milk they serve on the side to the rice is even better as it felt like I was drowning in the taste of coconuts 😋😋😋😋
It was also a pretty well balanced set meal as the set had quite a bit of vegetables and this week it was pear soup! I like how the soup was stored in cups as it’s just easier to drink for lazy people like me😂
The wagyu beef omelette rice was pretty good too as the egg was so silky and the tastefully seasoned beef matched so well with rice 😋
