Right before serving, we had put it in the freezer for a short while, hoping to make the crust more crunchy. The crust was slightly crunchy but not so. You could tell from the photos that there were quite some different layers, with the outer surface being a very thin layer of matcha chocolate, with almond pieces I suspected. Then there were 2 layers of chocolate cake inside, which was quite moist, maybe due to the sake and wine. The matcha cream inside was not overly greasy at all. And there were many different nuts/beans including walnut, black bean, white bean, red kidney bean, small pea, and red bean as stated on the list of ingredients. So taste-wise and texture-wise, I had to admit that it was pretty good. Definitely great value for money given the discounted price of $50. Good to share for a group of two. Service was very good as an ice bag was offered when I bought a few more home after trying the first one. Highly recommended.
