Way Over-rated and mediocre at best

Given the reviews, gave this place a try, previously a Spanish tapas place which was amazing. However this place is really different. The reviews are definitely politically motivated since the pork chop (which was supposed to be slow-cooked) was terrible, the pork was tough and the only rewarding bit was the plum sauce but without asking for more, you will not be able to finish the pork itself. The reviews are definitely politically motivated since the pork chop (which was supposed to be slow-cooked) was terrible, the pork was tough and the only rewarding bit was the plum sauce but without asking for more, you will not be able to finish the pork itself. The pasta had a generous portion, but it is not any better than home cooked quality. and finally the side dish French fries. Lots of fries, not much cheese(in comparison) and therefore not enough topping or sauce to enjoy more than 20% of it, had to ask for ketchup which was the only condiment for the fries they have.

All in all, it's nice to support your political affiliation but the quality of cooking, despite being affordable in price, requires major improvement. At this point, no matter how you slice it, it's not worth a visit until it improves.
