I came here for lunch on a weekday and it was fairly quiet. For this visit, I tried their lunch sets.I LOVE the grilled crispy eel ($258) from this place!! ❤️ The eel was fresh, with perfect crispy skin, and it was served with a sweet and flavourful sansho sauce!!🤩🤩🤩 I will definitely be back for it!!I would also recommend the Hida wagyu tendon curry rice ($148) 🍛 The curry was rich, and it was served with a Sichuan chilli sauce, which gave the curry an extra kick 🌶 and slight numbing effect- ver

I would also recommend the Hida wagyu tendon curry rice ($148) 🍛 The curry was rich, and it was served with a Sichuan chilli sauce, which gave the curry an extra kick 🌶 and slight numbing effect- very interesting indeed! It was a bit like a Japanese-Chinese fusion dish😆

🐮 Hida wagyu tenderloin sando ($209)- I ordered half a portion and hence it was only two pieces. The bread used was brioche from Bakehouse, it was buttery and airy. The wagyu katsu had a perfect crispy coat and the meat was tender and flavourful! Unfortunately, the wagyu was far too thin and the portion was tiny (2 bites max!)... it’s very poor value of money, so I won’t recommend this.

🍵 the tea served with Taiwanese milk oolong, which was lovely ☺️
The lunch sets also included a simple salad, some pickles. See the last picture for the lunch menu.
