If i had wanted to order food through an app i would have stayed at home ! Unfortunately that was the dining experience at Sueno. Want water, order through an app. Want food, order through an app. But the problem was the app was not reliable cos after waiting for 35mins (menu says food we ordered required a 30mins waiting time), my friend went to personally find the staff to ask them where was the wine we ordered through the app. Only then did they come running and realized our food and drinks
Unfortunately that was the dining experience at Sueno. Want water, order through an app. Want food, order through an app. But the problem was the app was not reliable cos after waiting for 35mins (menu says food we ordered required a 30mins waiting time), my friend went to personally find the staff to ask them where was the wine we ordered through the app. Only then did they come running and realized our food and drinks order was not processed. So yes, we were left unattended for at least 35mins... not even a peek to see if we were still alive. Now i am starting to wonder were they piloting an unmanned restaurant concept ?
Had the starters we ordered taste good, that would have compensated but no so we left. But still would like to share my thoughts on the starters.
- Parma ham : You could tell just by look it's very aged and i'm NOT referring to duration meat was cured ! There's not the slightest hint of oil glistening and it's got a 'stored too long' taste.
- Grilled ox tongue : Take one, we had to send it back cos it was not seasoned at all. Take two, didn't have any improvement, sigh.
- Bread : Dry no softness and when i asked for olive oil and balsamic vinegar, the nice waitress asked me what is balsamic vinegar.
- Crispy bread with tomato thing trying to emulate bruschetta but without success.
Only starter that we had no complaints were grilled octopus.
