After having dinner with friends, we decided to finish it up with dessert. And thus, we arrived here at Lucky Dessert. It was packed but turn around is fast so we were able to get a table quickly.Lucky Dessert is a local dessert shop serving Chinese desserts. Menu is in English and Chinese and there is no 10% service charge. It's been a long time since we ate here and it appears they have increased with more variety of desserts that seem fancier along with an increase of prices.I ordered this:

I ordered this: mango pudding duck with ice cream and marshmallows ($63). There is one that is exactly the same but without marshmallows for $62. I decided to choose the one with the marshamallows and it was served on the side. There is a choice of ice cream and chose strawberry. It was a pretty big portion. The duck was a mango sorbet shaped like a duck. That was the only thing that tasted like mango. The mango pudding itself had no mango taste. It was also freakishly neon yellow in color. There was some froth on top to make it look like a bath tub. It was cute but it didn't taste very good. Just a bland pudding with no mango taste. It was helped along with a bit of condensed milk that was provided on the side.
Very expensive prices and the dessert wasn't very good either. It also took forever for my dessert to come and after we asked about it a few times as well. Doubt I'd be back by my own choice.
