Weekend spent with family at the Lantau Island. We had the day planned to go up the Buddha followed by chilling around at Tai O and to enjoy the rest of the day with an afternoon tea. We were lucky to get a table by the seaside. We ordered some tea, fish cakes and pizza to share. We were also given a book/diary to write down our feelings. Seems that a lot of customers come here to enjoy their quiet moments at Tai O. There was one tourist who mentioned their accident about dropping their phone in the sea and it was very nice of the Lo Ban Leung (female owner of the restaurant) and her family to assist in helping to search for their phone in the sea! You have to be careful not to drop anything 😂😂
Here are some beautiful views taken from the restaurant:
I totally agree with the poem that you should slow down, enjoy your moments of silence on a weekend and just relax. Weekdays are already busy with school, work, activities etc The restaurant is really a good place to put down your phones and enjoy 😉
Sadly that the restaurant is closing soon (in a few months I think) 😢 I’ll need to search for another good place when I go to Tai O next time.
