After watching Rachel McAdams's "About Time" at Broadway cinema, I decided to come here for lunch or afternoon tea I should say since it was after 1400. Decor/ Environment & Hygiene:This restaurant is known for its housemade noodles, so that's why there were pictures of noodles all over the walls along with other ingredients they use. The air con was perfect for the hot day and the chairs were nice and soft. What a comfy place it was. In terms of hygiene, everything was pretty much fine

In terms of hygiene, everything was pretty much fine besides the fact that maybe a messy eater was sitting there prior to my arrival as there were a few strands of food on the seat.
Luckily I didn't sit in it.
Service:It wasn't tea time yet when I arrived so I was given the lunch menu. I had intended to have the abalone "lo mein", but they were out. Seeing that I seemed a little lost without this option, the very friendly staff gave me the afternoon tea menu. "Little " won tons with lo mein was the only set that came with lo mein so I chose that. I want to say that the staff who served me was really friendly and really did have a good attitude.
Taste & Value:
There were two jars of housemade condiments on the table. One was a pickled garlic and one was spicy dried shrimps. I didn't like the garlic at all. Let me just say it is an acquired taste.The shrimp however wasn't bad. It was nice with the noodles, but let me warn you, it was spicy!
A tea set comes with a hot soy milk. It was alright, not overly sweet but a bit bland. Then, very soon the noodles came and soon after the wonton came. The famous noodles were made quite well, but flavourwise, no flavours were pungent enough to stand out; making it an average dish. As for the wonton, they were poorly made. The wraps came off when i spooned them, so in a way I was eating the wraps and the meat filling separately. Disappointing right? Oh well, maybe I was expecting too much for a $28 meal.
Final Verdict:I'm sure I can find a better eatery in Mong Kok, so chances of me going back are pretty slim.
