Savoury dishes at this wood workshop slash cafe in Kwun Tong. Meatballs and cheese skillet ($88) is a must, the sauce was so good, wish we had some bread to dip in! If you want to stick to linch sets, there's the prawn pasta ($128), which comes with a salad and black coffee.Once you walk out of the lift, you will see piles of wood along the corridor leading to the entrance . Once you walk out of the lift, you will see piles of wood along the corridor leading to the entrance . The wood workshop is next to the entrance, and you can look through the glass panels to peek at what they are putting together. Step inside the store to see their retail selections, with wooden stationary, handicraft soaps and other little hand made goods.
Sweets are the highlights of any cafe experience, so we pretty much went all out and ordered 3 desserts. First is this awesome Tumeric and poached pear custard cake ($42), it was so moist and still crucnhy on the outside packed full with flavour. Talking about cakes is the only occasion where the use of the word moist is justified, otherwise its a gross word lmao
Financiers ($38 for 3) were next, we got one orange and two chocolates, though orange was the better one for me. Finally there's this Smoked tea cheesecake ($5x) that I can't really remb the details of hahaha I only remb it being really cream so we couldn't finish it.
