Came in for a Friday Lunch to farewell a colleague. I ordered a HKD197 Pan seared Alaskan Halibut.The set includes a salad served with duck breast, which was acceptable.The halibut, however, is an utter disaster. Firstly it isn’t pan seared at all. I checked with the kitchen, it was oven cooked apparently. The fish was not seared on either side whatsoever. Second, the fish was not seasoned AT ALL to a point I had to ask for pepper and salt. Second, the fish was not seasoned AT ALL to a point I had to ask for pepper and salt.
Finally, upon eating through the fish, the initial bite was tough, the rest is just watery.. it wasn’t event unseasoned but watery…..
It’s amazing how a place like this can survive with this quality of food.
To be fair, once I bring up this issue to the kitchen, and requested for replacing the order with pasta instead. They were willing to do so. The pasta was rather bland too, and a colleague seem to have found the fish scale in the linguine salmone.
Highly recommend NOT to come.
