For no reason, this restaurant randomly popped in my mind today and obviously I ended up spending my lunch here. This restaurant was pretty small but well designed to make good use of seatings. Menu served the traditional well known Vietnamese Mains which offered in sets. Orders made via QR code with payment first. Food came right after your order. We requested lemongrass pork chop banh mi with papaya salad set and pork neck noodle soup with fried spring roll set. For drinks, we ordered hot lemon

Food came right after your order. We requested lemongrass pork chop banh mi with papaya salad set and pork neck noodle soup with fried spring roll set. For drinks, we ordered hot lemongrass lime water and coconut water which were also included in the sets.
Didn't expect their banh mi that big. The baguette was pretty big, almost an arm size. Baguette was crispy but not too airy which filled you up after eating it all. Good that their order system allowed customer to decide if extra sauce/ herbs was needed or omitted. I asked for no mayonnaise while I drizzled siracha while consuming. Right amount of cilantro and pickles were sandwiched. Pretty surprised that apart from a deep fried pork sandwiching but also viet sausage. Every bite was meaty. Great that pickles served some tangy flavour to cleanse the heaviness. Personally love to drizzle siracha for some spiciness.
Papaya salad was in a relatively big portion despite of serving in a small bowl. Crunchy with a strong fish sauce flavour. Neither too spicy nor too salty. Nothing special.
Pork neck was served separately with the noodle soup. One side of pork neck was chewy while the other side was tender. Very savoury. Crispy crust while juicy meat. With the drizzled lime, it was pretty appetising. Flat noodle portion was just right. Broth was light with chopped herbs. Appreciated they sprinkled with chopped herbs instead of in bunches.
Fried spring roll was very crunchy. Transparent thin wrapping wrapped the shredded mushrooms and loaded veggies. It was delicious. Paired so well with noodle soup. Love they also gave a small handful of pickles aside.
Overall, it was a decent place to have a quick meal. Nothing special but comforting and refreshing.
