I was glad that I could easily book a table even just 2 hours before visiting, because i was using the Coupon thingthat costs 138 + 10% per person for the semi-buffet dinnerMe and my company chose Rib Eye Steak and Lamb Rack as the main dish. For the buffet items, we don't have to do it ourselves, the waitress took care of our order and delivered all food on our table.
There are several things we can order as "buffet items"
we tried:
Salad - exceptionally good! the sauce was very nice! veggie was fresh!
Mini burger - too cute that I have never seen before, only beef and bread in a coin size, taste good
button mushroom - was good and juicy
spaghetti bolognese - so so, too oily, taste was ok, but don't find much meat paste there...portion was good (in just 1 small bowl)
calamari - i find it the easier to taste, because i took it as the bar snack
mussels - most disappointing, not fresh and not recommended.
Dessert - cheese cake, taste was excellent, just the texture was a bit strange, too tough as if it had been frozen...but we had 2 of those for each person because it tastes good and the portion is very small, 1.5 inch per slice.
Overall the dining experience was fine. except the tricky thing that drink is not included in the deal, not even a drop of water, you must do an extra order on their drink list, otherwise, you won't get a drop to drink while eating so much food. So I ordered a bottle of Floris Apple
It would be nice if I could sit outside, since i indicated that when I was booking the table on the phone, and the person says it's available to reserve a table for 2 at the outside area, turned out not
what is also worth mentioning, we were served by a lively, kind and sweet waitress, (I guess she is a Filipino who can also speak good cantonese) she calls me "darling" all the time and very attentive. repeatedly asking if we had enough food and remind us the time to last order.
Oh yes! I like the music there! classical songs were played there throughout the dining experience at an appropriate volume, didn't expect to listen some old nice tunes, that was an extra
