Kaiseki-ryori 怀石料理, a traditional multi-course Japanese meal, is not as popular as other cuisines such as yakitoritei or ramen in Hong Kong. Xenri D’zen named itself as a new Kaiseki cuisine might have simplified its dinner menu to fit the patience and palette of Hong Kong diners. It’s yet to be proved as I was having lunch this time and normal set menus were served.

b) Seven Types of Sashimi with Rice and Miso Soup (Main - $198) – 8/10

d) Assorted Sashimi 杂锦刺身, Black Pork Cutlet with Egg 滑蛋煮吉列黑豚, Oyster

A : Given the quality, the lunch sets were quite expensive even after the credit card discount. Will visit again if they have special Kaiseki-ryori menu at reasonable price.
