One of my recent favorite Sichuan restaurant which locations in Tseung Kwan O called @yuanyuan__hk. They have different variety of food including spicy and non-spicy. We got seated quickly on weekdays night and the staff gave us a QR code to order the food. They offer bubble tea and enzyme drink which was unlike to usual spicy restaurant.
To start with, we ordered two cups of enzyme drinks. We picked enzyme with fruit granules ($39) and enzyme with aloe and basil seeds ($39). Fruit Enzymes are the base for most of our drinks. It’s made from fermented fruits that are packed with many nutrients. It can help improve digestion, boost immunity, and even increase metabolism. It is healthy and good drink during the day and night. We picked cranberry and peach enzyme for drink base with some chewy fruits, aloe and basil seeds bites. It went very well when we mixed them together!
For starter, we ordered Chinese Drunken Chicken ($68). It had a strong shaoxing flavor. The chicken was literally soaked in alcohol. I love it! It tasted really well and there were many slices too! Great portion. For the main, we ordered spicy and sour fish & spicy beef ($308). Both side tasted very yummy! The fish didn't have any bones which was very impressive. No fishy smell which was very important😂 For the beef, it had absorbed all spicy sauce but it was not oily. Both side had some veggies and glass noodles. Good to share with a group of friends!
For the dessert, we picked salted egg buns for 3pcs ($28) and glutinous rice cake with brown sugar ($48). Both of them was outstanding. When I opened the buns, it was melting! While for glutinous rice cake, it was not too sweet because you could pick the amount of sugar. Very considerable!
