I honestly don’t know how to take good pics of skewers 😂 Tried this hidden yakitori place in central, tucked away in a small alley tit Hong lane. We opted this $350pp chef menu and added $300 for 2 hours sake free flow..
The chef menu includes lots skewers, chicken karaage, salad and unagi fried rice.
Everything was not bad, the most impressive ones would be chicken thighs, chicken wings, tofu, chicken meatball, chicken skin and sweet rice cakes.
Especially love the chicken thigh, so tender and juicy, we ordered one more..
the chicken meatball (Tsukune) was good too, but it would better if it comes with egg yolk..
The unagi fried rice was pretty good too, but slightly too salty, I had to order a coke after that. 😆
In terms of the food everything was up to standard,
The only downside is the vibe was a bit weird that day, it was strangely quiet.. not much ppl.. maybe coz the day we went was “Chinese ghost festival 14/7”? 👻😅 everywhere seems a lot less ppl that night.. haha
And we were sitting back at a small corner (3 girls), so it’s not a comfy place to chill..
The ventilation system seems not too good, our hair became very smelly after 😂
It would be better if we could sit near the door side I guess..
