Haven't been to nikko for a long time. Today went with collegues to try the lunch buffet. There are a lot of Japanese dishes for sure and I'm most impressed with the sashimi rice. They gave you salmon, tuna, egg, crab roe and a bunch of condiments to make your own rice! Everything is fresh and tasty. The hot dishes are limited but delicious. But they do have a congee and noodle counter and you can pick your own ingredients. I pick rice noodles with wonton and meatball which are quite nice. They
