Feeling bored of flat homemade lunch so we wanted to go for some cheap food delivery. Serendipitously, this restaurant was doing 20% off $100 - what a great deal! Although we had one slightly unpleasant experience with them in the past where their sauce was way too salty, we felt we could give it some leeway and see if it was a one-off experience. The delivery came within 15 minutes and that was all it took! (I am being serious here!) The food came hot and well-served with big scattered pieces of tempura crumbs and crispy onions lying on top of each bowl, what a beautiful view to behold! The texture of the udon was on point, so was the flavour (saltiness included) of the sauce. I think they gave us a fair amount of meat so I didn’t feel we were ripped off. For how much we paid for, this was a quick, delicious Japanese meal to order from. My advice is to get the food off Deliveroo rather than in-person because I don’t think you get discounts buying it at the shop!
My faith in this restaurant has been restored, hope we will expect more from them!
