The 'OpenRice Best Restaurants 2024' Awards Ceremony is one of the most important events in the catering industry. It was successfully held today (7th November) at Hotel ICON in Tsim Sha Tsui! The awards aim to recognize the most outstanding and popular selected restaurants in 2024. It was a great pleasure to have representatives from award-winning restaurants and renowned gourmands participate in the ceremony, witnessing the announcement of 'Best Restaurants Awards' and all the other categories in town.

The 'OpenRice Best Restaurants 2024' Awards this year has introduced direct voting through the OpenRice mobile app, making it easier for everyone to support their favourite restaurants. The award winners in each category were determined 100% by public voting, creating a food guide certified by citizens of Hong Kong.

Restaurant representatives and guests eagerly took photos with the exquisite props specially designed for the event, capturing memories and playing games for prizes, which created a lively atmosphere. Meanwhile, a charity sale featuring the 'OpenRice 25th Anniversary Limited Edition Charity Monopoly' also took place, receiving enthusiastic supports from numerous donors.

Nearly 1 million votes were cast during 2 months of public election, and resulted in 123 awards. The 'Omakase', 'Grill', etc., have been introduced to the Cuisine Category which is resulting in a total of 33 cuisine categories for the ceremony this year.
