Went to The Flying Pan in the afternoon - after the lunch rush so I didn't have to wait at all for a table. I have been in the past during lunchtime and it's packed! Went with my toddler son and my friend and ordered a kids meal (fried egg, sausage patty & toast), my friend ordered the eggs picatta and I ordered biscuits & gravy! My son ate his meal like a good boy - it was nice and light and just right for him. My son ate his meal like a good boy - it was nice and light and just right for him. He likes it at The Flying Pan (best to take in the afternoons) because staff are child-friendly and he can gaze out onto the on going traffic with the safety of the big glass doors. My friend adores Eggs Benedict so she ordered the Eggs Piccatta, very creamy and smooth (I had a large bite of it! couldn't resist! ) It's what you would expect from a good Eggs Benny... the saltiness of the capers with the mushrooms mixed in just makes the bite tastier! If you're a fan of Eggs Benedict I would definitely recommend choosing from their huge selections of House Egg Specialities! (If you're wanting to know what their menu looks like they actually have it on their website! (http://the-flying-pan.com/menu.html)) Now for my meal... normally I would go for their massive combo plates but I fancied having biscuits and gravy so I chose my potatoes and baked beans as my sides (that's what I love about Flying Pan!!! the sides!) The biscuits were amazing not too hard and had a good crunch to it and topped with a mouthful of gravy - they compliment each other so well! I have to say I actually really love the sausage patty because it's packed with so much flavour! I struggled to finish my plate if I am honest, there was a lot on the plate! So good value for money for sure! Service was good, staff again are very friendly!
