I keep getting told that this is good, and that it's a great substitute when you can't have Chipotle and blah blah blah. But I don't see it.First things first, the sign says "authentic Mission burritos" but I highly doubt anyone involved in the restaurant has been within three bus stops of the Mission district. First things first, the sign says "authentic Mission burritos" but I highly doubt anyone involved in the restaurant has been within three bus stops of the Mission district. El Farolito this is not. It's a Chipotle-clone.
Second, it's just not very good, through and through. I got the "fajita veggies" and the peppers were overcooked and off-putting in their flavor (reminded me of frozen veggies growing up). The carnitas are dry. The supposedly "spicy" salsa verde has no spice to it. I found it hard to slog through the burrito, there was nothing rewarding in it.
Someday I hope good burritos will come to Hong Kong. Today is not that day.
