I passed by this coffee shop a couple of times but thought it's just another coffee shop in Sai Kung. After seeing a good review of their crab cakes and nice pictures of their coffee, I decided I have to give it a try. When we walked into this small coffee shop, we were greeted by a nice and friendly waitress (maybe the owner). We ordered the crab cakes, chicken and mushroom hot dog, mushroom toasts, latte macchiato and a beer. Since the crab cakes were made to order so it's took a little bit longer. Therefore, we had time to enjoy the other food items first.
The first one to come was mushroom toast. It smelt so good because they sauteed the mushroom with garlic. The toast is lightly toasted so it was not dry and could absorb some mushroom sauce. After the toast, the chicken and mushroom hot dog was served. The interesting part of this sausage was there were mushroom slices inside the sausage. I think it could be better if they grilled it a little bit longer to give it more crispyness. Then, the long awaited crab cake came. I was so excited as I smelled it before it was served on my table. After my first bite, I was totally satisfied. It was packed generously with crab meat. I would say it's one of the best crab cake in Hong Kong as it was better than some served in hotel restaurants. The latte art is cute which I thought resemble the barrister's cartoonish look. The coffee tasted fine to me as it's not too strong. We were so happy with the food we had, we just could not help ourselves to order one more dish as dessert, apple and maple syrup toast. As I do not like very sweet dessert, so I found this well suited to my taste.
