Decor (Kitchen)- pretty unthinkable why they design the place with lamps hanging down really low between the very clustered tables. Everybody hit their heads on them every time standing up from the sofas without fail.
Food - nothing spectacular for that price:
Tuna tartare marinated in soya sauce was ok but wasn't good enough to make an impression.
Fish pie - it's only a dish of plain seafood with lots of fillers in a pool of watering cream sauce.
The Iberico rib was recommended to us. I didn't like my pork to be pink even though it's Iberico. It was after much negotiation before we could asked for it to be cooked medium well. I respect their persistence in recommending that it should not be done too cooked (medium rare they even said) but they should also respect the liking and preference of the customer. It turned out pork was too fatty and indeed too pink and we could not exactly consume the whole of what was served to us. Waste of a piece of good meat if it was what it's meant to be.
Lastly the baked Alaska was a joke. Simply appalling with a piece of stale frozen cake and a pile of cream buried inside a mountain of meringue set on fire. Tasted terrible. Actually I should not have said that because it had no taste at all but sweetness and staleness.
