I've never been to Sevva but have heard a lot about it.. From the cakes to the cocktails and obviously, the view!So I came for high tea with high expectations! The view was quite nice, especially in the middle of Central amongst all the buildings!The food, however, was subpar. For a 720+10% service charge, I was expecting either quality or quantity. Which they didn't deliver in either aspect The best from the savory would be the sliders.. Everything else was generic and mediocre, just acceptable

So I came for high tea with high expectations!
The view was quite nice, especially in the middle of Central amongst all the buildings!

The food, however, was subpar. For a 720+10% service charge, I was expecting either quality or quantity. Which they didn't deliver in either aspect

The best from the savory would be the sliders.. Everything else was generic and mediocre, just acceptable. The two rolls on the second level were sandwiches.. That was the worst since the bread was dry and the salty cheese was too overpowering

For the sweet, the best was the strawberry dipped in chocolate (because the strawberry was good) everything else was lathered in overly sweet cream, or simply artificially decorated for the camera to savor.. Instead of, well, me.

But the most disappointing thing I would say, is the service. For HKD720 + service charge, I would expect the service to match up. It is comparatively expensive for a high tea set for 2, NOT including alcoholic beverage/champagne. The waiters were rude and condescending. Just as we finished up with the last dessert, a waiter came over with the bill and told us we could only stay for another 20 mins precisely.

I got a genuine Hong Kong service.. From that I meant cha chan teng service e.g. Australian dairy company!

Would never even consider recommending this place.. The view is nice but there are many other options in Central with the view which offers far better food, service and the whole package.

Utterly Disappointed.

難得有朋友一齊在星期一放假，便相約high tea。Sevva 為於太子大廈25樓全層，high tea 開始時間為2時30分，我們於2時20分到達餐廳門口，當時已有幾位食客等緊，不過餐廳職員不准我們在餐廳門口或升降機口等，所有人只能搭升降機回其他樓層，等到2時30分才返回餐廳。當天人客稀少，以為有靚位坐，原來四面中有一面屬private area，下午茶時間不開放(不過後來有明星黎到就俾佢哋坐)。原想坐露台位，但實在太熱，只得返回室內一個望不到風景的地方。食物方面如下:1. 9. Chocolate fudge cake: 好好味，成個tea set 最滿意的食物
10. Double chocolate dipped strawberry: 好普通，士多啤梨有點酸
11. Pineapple carrot cake: 好味，不過件蛋糕有點鬆散
12. Caramel crunch cake: 幾好食，焦糖夠脆
13. Cigar wafer cookies: 普通
14. Mini mont blanc: 都係普通

題外話/補充資料：整體來說: 食物: 其實大部份都是普通風景: 食嘢時享受不到，食完之後我們於露台影了些維港景和周圍建築物的相，才不致太失望

To celebrate Lanvin Designer Alber Elbaz partners with Sevva 's Bonnae Gokson , here they are ready to present a Parisian - Inspired Afternoon Tea Set during 2- 30 December . Place mat and the menu or even sandwich paper wrap are all specially designed for this tea set . I am thrilled about that after I saw the menu and table maps served .You can see how much effort they put in details and reveals it sincerity. Sketches exclusively from Alber Elbaz is very colorful and adorable . For girls, I am sure you will take the table map back home that will certainly give a wow.I pick the herb infusion for this time .

Since the waitress said this is one of the signature , I give up picking Earl grey for once . Peppermint Tea is full of surprise . Light but mellow with sightly flower fragrance . It 's very caring that they served a separate individual honey bottle so that u can add in by yourself leisurely , just depends the scale. Field Mint for clear headed , with the honey , sweetness and mellowness blending harmoniously in your mouth . Overall is very refreshing .

Here it is . Look at this extraordinary presentation. U can understand why the price is even higher than the hotel . They present vibrant snacks that I won't expect in a high tea set with lovely decoration and really matched with the theme . Spectacular Sketches and lovely icing sugar decoration successfully adorn such sweet and creative collaboration . The whole presentation is just so stylish, lovely , eye - catching or even stunning .

Snowflakes Coconut Chiffon sponge cake is light in texture and look very elegant with a 3D butterfly decoration . The sponge cake was fill up with strong coconut hint , the creamy sponge content is light that even can melt swiftly in your mouthfuls . Covered with shredded coconut to create a more dense flavor . Best pick for coconut lovers .
Two macarons look much more plump and big compare to normal one . It color is bright but not artificial , garnish with icing sugar decoration . The one with Santa Claus is in Strawberry and Pistachio Flavor with Chocolate Creme . For the other with " Lanvin" wordings is Cocoa and Vanilla flavor with French Vanilla Cream Creme . Both are good in texture , crispy layer with soft flaky content . Tastes are favorable with strong almond hint , somehow it's just over sweet . But overall the adorable outlook score a victory already !

Foie gras mousse with Onion Marmalade

The middle floor with the most fruitful components , create the biggest temptation in salty savories !Foie gras mousse with Onion Marmalade hit the spotlight ! This is very tasty , the foie gras mousse is strong while the Marmalade can highlight it own freshness and strike the balance . The savory waffle above is very crispy and buttery , overall mouthfuls is fabulous ,
leaving a spectacular flavor that lingered in my mouth and throat. The one in the center which wrapped with designed sandwiches paper is finger rolls with French Ham and Brie cheese . This is very delicious too . French ham is not that salty , brie cheese is very creamy but not over cheesy . The roll was wrapped tightly so that blend well and evenly in one bite . Ratatouille on Cucumber is nothing special . Simple but refreshing , tasty too ! Appreciate . Truffle scrambled eggs on toasted Poilane placed in front is hot enough . Scrambled eggs is in a runny condition , perfect match with the aromatic truffles , no doubt that can stimulate your taste buds , one word : mouth watering . For the signature minced chicken sandwiches at the back and baby potato with stuffed salmon and egg on the side is above average from my friend comments . I think it is tasty since my friend finished in a very fast speed !

Aha ! Same come various sweet delights to form a colorful platter .
In front is Raspberry , rose petal jam and creme anglaise eclair . Jam and creme texture is light but aromatic with fresh juicy raspberry . The puff base is buttery with a nice touch You can just feel so delightful after the first bite . In front besides the raspberry puff is Chocolate coated eclair with candies sprinkles . This is a bit over sweet , but the banana and strawberry creme content still gain its score , the cream stir well and smooth while it still maintain both hint .

On the side is Candy Lollipop , since it is in individual packing , I decided to take back home with that heart shape looking . At the back on left hand side is flower power espresso cheesecake . This stand its ground . The cheesecake is very dense and rich in flavor , the texture goes rich marvelously . Coffee expresso marbled on top , sightly add a hint of mellowness and complex the flavor. I specially like this even though I am not a Cheesecake lover . Then comes to Ms B 's Bakery signature : Caramel Crunch Cake . This light weight cake surly won't let you disappointed .Soft vanilla chiffon sponge cake topped with signature honeycomb . Simple cream cake with the crispy accompany , a perfect combination , tastes unexpectedly good . Next is Pineapple Creme Gateaux in light yellow color . The presentation is extremely lovely and unique . Strong pineapple hint and creamy content, the general mouthfuls are above average . Mont Blanc Coupe is a chestnut flavor dessert . Chestnut paste in the bottom part , then a flaky crunch to separate the whipped cream , top with chestnut smash pulp. This cup dessert is superb with its distinctive layers . The texture is likable with bright character .

Despite providing outstanding high tea with good food prepared on an emphasis of the finest produce, the place is spectacular too ! The whole area can be divided into
Six parts . Ms B 's sweet is the most lovely part with the cake shelf . The brand's visual identity centers around a giant 5 - foot vintage Venini chandelier . Taste bar is time for chic and chill , oozes out the total sensory experience . Listen to the smooth sounds of Jazz and Bossa Nova surely can release yourself . The lounge with fresh green vertical garden is the highlight . Extremely cozy and spacious with the elements of seating area . The light steaming from the floor to ceiling windows complement the soft colors of the furnishing , very comfortable and harmonious . Bankside caters to the business , high walls are filled up with coveted pieces of modern art . Harbourside exudes an unpretentious and easy glam ambience .

Flower sky platform definitely is the spirit of this dining area , very romantic . I specially admire the spectacular view from the terrace and the mural art sketched by Gladys perint plamer . The whole place is permeated with artistic sense , chic and modern , exquisite and grand , all elements to construct such unique area .
Even though it's a bit pricy at the price of $680 ( + 10 % service charge ) , it 's still worth for trying ! I highly recommended this to high tea fashion lover . Sevice overall are about average , nothing special to mention.

The entire high tea journey is just full of surprises ! Plus a kindly remind , there are not reservation for High tea period . If you come for a knock , please come earlier on weekends or pick weekdays for safety purpose . " Lanvin Loves Sevva " Afternoon Tea is served on weekdays from 2:30 pm - 5 pm, for weekends, from 3pm -5:30 pm .It's the time to indulge yourself in such high end environment and delicacies ! This ultimate French inspired treat is very unique in both presentation and tastes .
