Before giving try at this restaurant, I have heard that the service is quite slow here. I finally have an experience of that. Before giving try at this restaurant, I have heard that the service is quite slow here. I finally have an experience of that. But given that it is a Sunday, let's be patience while waiting for the food. Instead of complaining about the slow service, let's shift your attention to the food.

I ordered a breakfast set. The name of my set is a French ward which means "a little breakfast". Literally, my set of breakfast is quite small in portion when compared to those transitional English breakfast or HK style brunch. Again, forget about the size of the food, let's move onto the taste. I have added on a rice pudding with fresh coriander. This is the most impressing part of the food because it is to me. Another point to highlight is the hot chocolate beverage which is rich in taste, and you can play with the melt chocolate.

Others are just bread and veggie. After all, it's quite refreshing and relaxing to have such a green and slow meal. It will certainly be able to kick of your lazy day with enough energy.

原來呢到既朱古力都唔簡單架
呢到既熱朱古力係一碗熱牛奶再on side一勺朱古力醬
呢個做法既好處係客人可以自己調配最適合自已既甜度非常貼心啊!

Avocado Toast (HKD88)

當我見到MENU裡面有「Avocado Toast」我大叫左出黎
因為我係超鐘意係牛油果既人對於牛油果多士真係無法抗拒
呢到既Avocado Toast無令我失望
本身麵包好香已經硬度適中上面搽上牛油果蓉同切片既牛油果
再加上其他配料係一個香濃又健康既Avocado Toast!

呢個鴨脾鍋相當惹味！
裡面有一隻完完整整既鴨脾輕輕力切開鴨肉已經自然分開
落得亦肉質亦都好嫩滑
再加上餐廳自製既white bean cassoulet 同鴨既味道好配合!

甜品整體都唔錯！呢到既甜品大多數都唔會太甜
可能因為餐廳主張健康既食物所以甜品都盡量以健康為大前題

Always feel like I am in somewhere else when I am passing by this Lee Tung Street in Wan Chai. This is a brand new residential area, which there are plenty of fancy restaurants located as well. Last time I came here to try the Japanese coffee shop, but this time I went for the Belgium bistro.The indoor interiors contain a western old school style and it feels like walking into a historical bakery. Nonetheless, the outdoor area will make you feel like you are on vacation at some places in Euro. T

The indoor interiors conta

in a western old school style and it feels like walking into a historical bakery. Nonetheless, the outdoor area will make you feel like you are on vacation at some places in Euro. The amber light bulbs form a relax atmosphere and environment for the customers. My friends and I have been arranged to sit at the long table nearby the outdoor entrance.

All the starters, tartines, hot dishes, desserts or even baking goods are printed on a two-side menu. Is always difficult for me to pick the food, since they all look tempting and I want to try them all lol. Gladly, my friends they made the decisions when I am still struggling.

We started the meals with some tartines and there were quite a few people order the Avocado Toast, hence we decided to go for it also. A green layer of avocado has covered the sour dough bread and it looks really healthy and tasty. Once I thought the black dots are the black peppers, turns out they are the high fiber chia seeds. There is no doubt that the highlight of the dish is the sour dough bread, as it is freshly made and contains a crispy texture.

Buffalo Mozzarella & Prosciutto

Another tartine that we chose is the Buffalo Mozzarella & Prosciutto and I can’t tell you how much I love the cold cut meat. The wine colored of tapenade is made with black olive and it carries a sour and refreshing flavor to the tartine. On top of that, there are buffalo mozzarella, prosciutto and sundried tomatoes, which they combine into a delicious dish.

Almond Butter Berry

While we were enjoying the tartines, our drinks have been served to the table. As it was a 31-degree summer day, I ordered a cold Almond Butter Berry. They blended almond butter, banana, coconut yogurt and berries together, it is truly fruity and can freshen up the hot summer.

Even though it was a hot day, my friends still want to try its special Hot Chocolate. What makes it unique is that they will serve a cup of hot milk and a small pot of melted chocolate, and then you can add the chocolate to milk based on how sweet you want. One of my friends poured in all the chocolate, thus it has a super rich and sweet chocolate flavor.

Meatballs à la Liégeoise

Soon after, the hot dishes arrive to the table and they all serve in a medium size of pots. This Meatballs à la Liégeoise is the recommended dish, which there are two larges sizes of meatballs served inside the pot. The meatballs are quite tender and it is big enough for four people to share. It also came along with cheesy thick-cut fries and some sliced bread, which you can dip them into the meat sauce.

Cassoulet & Duck Confi

The second hot dish is Cassoulet & Duck Confit and it served in a small pot too. The duck leg is extremely tender, you can pull out the meat with a folk easily. The duck skin is the evilest part, which there are some duck fat attached to it. Personally I tend to like this white bean sauce than the liégeoise, yet they are both amazing. And of course, this dish served with some cheese wedges and bread also. However, a slight different is that there are few slices of prosicutto and chopped herbs onto it.
Because of the bread, we were pretty full already, but how can we end a meal without dessert? Therefore, we ordered a Strawberry Tart and a Coconut Yogurt Berry Parfait to share. And we moved to the outdoor seats to enjoy the dessert in a more comfortable and relax environment.

Strawberry Tart

The Strawberry Tart looks simple, yet is quite refreshing and delicious. The sweet and sour strawberries can freshen up our taste and the tart crust is rather buttery and crumbly. I think this tart would be perfect to pair with a cup of tea or coffee and especially good for the afternoon tea.

Coconut Yogurt Parfait

The Coconut Yogurt Berry Parfait is served in a jar, which you will need to scoop to the bottom for the biscuit crunches. I think this is a healthy dessert, since the yogurt and berries can benefit the health. Similar to the strawberry tart, this parfait is refreshing as well, which can neutralize the heavy salty flavor from the hot dishes.

We noticed there are some postcards on the table, the staff told us that we could write a postcard and drop to this Belgium mailbox, then the restaurant will mail for us! Hence, we all wrote a postcard and send to each other to remember the day.
