It was kind of late. My friend and I were looking for a simple meal after a long day's work. We were greeted by a friendly waitress and arranged to sit next to the window. At night, it was kind of quite in this side of Admiralty, so we can enjoy a quiet and cosy dinner. I ordered the seafood laksa and an ice chocolate, and my friend ordered the bbq ribs and beer. The laksa came with two mussels, two clams, a medium to large size prawn, a couple slices of squid, fried beancurb puff and fish balls
The laksa came with two mussels, two clams, a medium to large size prawn, a couple slices of squid, fried beancurb puff and fish balls. The laksa was mildly spicy but I would like it even more if it added more coconut milk to make the soup more creamy. The noodle was not spectacular but the seafood was fresh and tasty. I could taste the sweetness of the clams.
My friend's bbq ribs was okay. It's very meaty and a little bit dry as the top was slightly over charred. I thought if they added a little more sauce to it or on the side, the meat would be a little less on the dry side.
Overall, we enjoyed our meal here, the food was good, the environment was comfortable and quiet, and service with a smile.
