I recently visited this hotpot restaurant for a birthday party, but unfortunately, the experience left me disappointed. The hotpot soup base lacked the distinct and vibrant taste of Sichuan spices that I was hoping for. It was rather bland and failed to capture the authentic flavors I was expecting.
One positive aspect of the restaurant was their option to order half portions. This was a convenient choice for those who wanted to try a variety of flavors without committing to a full serving. It allowed for more exploration and variety in the meal, which was a redeeming factor amidst the disappointment.
However, the seating arrangement was a letdown. As a party of six, we were given a table tucked away in a corner. Not only was it cramped and uncomfortable, but it also felt isolated from the lively ambiance of the restaurant. It certainly impacted the overall dining experience and made it difficult to enjoy our meal to the fullest.
Considering the lackluster hotpot soup base and the uncomfortable seating, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. If you're seeking an authentic Sichuan hotpot experience, it would be better to explore other options. With a multitude of restaurants offering flavorful and comforting hotpot dishes, there are surely better choices available that can satisfy your cravings and provide a more enjoyable dining atmosphere.
