同2個同事去了食dinner, 到了門口, 經已有d驚... 好似無人食, 唔同呢度主攻食lunch ??內裡只有幾個外籍人士, 食緊wine, anyway, 環境都幾好o既... 我們叫了幾個dishes, 各人的comment 都係"好..."青木瓜沙律: 好"酸"o加哩雞: 好"咸"spicy beef cubes : 好"梳打粉"其餘的.... 好普通囉@_@ 只係個朱古力心太軟... 幾好!完全無service 可言.... 唉.... 3個人700 幾蚊, 都唔知食過乜.... 其中一友人仲問陣去唔去食消夜... too bad !!

完全無service 可言.... 唉.... 3個人700 幾蚊, 都唔知食過乜.... 其中一友人仲問陣去唔去食消夜... too bad !!

法國情調越南菜

先來的麵包籃是提子排包﹐帶甜的提子不是我的那杯茶﹐不過暖暖的﹐鬆鬆的﹐不錯。

頭盤﹕
1。雞絲湯粉絲- 雞湯清甜﹐粉絲煙韌﹐好香香草味﹐有驚喜。
2。炸魚餅- 兩件小小的魚餅﹐炸得太乾﹐而且沒有魚味﹐不建議食。
3。吞拿魚沙律- 通常吃的都用Cappacciao﹐這裡是刺身﹐幾特別。刺身算新鮮﹐比好些日本壽司店的還好。

主菜﹕
1。蒜茸蜜糖大蝦配炒飯- 當然不是什麼大蝦﹐只是比中蝦大點的蝦球。亦當然不是新鮮游水蝦﹐不過依然爽身﹐而且那蒜茸蜜糖汁好好食﹐蒜茸味不重﹐但甜甜地﹐是我所喜歡的味道。
2。燒牛肉配白飯- 餐牌寫是配wasabi 薯仔茸的﹐不知為何變了白飯﹐吃了才發現﹐
也就算了。燒牛肉好嫩﹐有肉味﹐燒得幾香﹐配白飯也好﹐不會搶了牛肉的味道。
3。雜菌意粉- 是我喜歡的linguine﹐煮得幾彈牙﹐有多種不同的菌類﹐口感各不同﹐再灑上大量的ricotta cheese 而不是parmesan cheese﹐有新意。

甜品﹕
1。Panna cotta with raspberry sauce - 雖然只是$10 的是日甜品﹐但一樣製作認真﹐那個sauce 中加了不知什麼香料﹐好特別。
2。軟心朱古力蛋糕- 雖然要等15 分鐘﹐但完全值得。一刀切下去裡面的朱古力漿是“湧”流出來的﹐但就個人而言﹐外面可以再脆一點就更好。不過真的很落本﹐是用Valrhona 朱古力﹐$30 好抵﹗

結尾的咖啡都很香濃﹐一口喝下那苦澀的的expresso﹐提一提神﹐又是時候回去工作了﹐差點以為自己在度假呢﹐真的不捨得離開。雖然食物不是什麼正宗越南菜﹐但滲進了點點法國味道的“改良”菜式﹐味道又挺合我口味啊﹐下次一定要再來﹗

Good place for meeting guest

Quiet place with very western style deco. cheap set lunch, only $80 something with 2 courses & drinks (what more do you expect?!). best is add $10 for dessert!! the set lunch have a pretty good selections of main courses. if you are lucky, you might get to have surf & turf (beef FILET & KING prawn) for only $80 something. the beef was very juicy and the prawn was great too. the waitress told me that most of their food supply come from the market nearby, so that the food are mostly very fresh. th

Quiet place with very western style deco. cheap set lunch, only $80 something with 2 courses & drinks (what more do you expect?!). best is add $10 for dessert!! the set lunch have a pretty good selections of main courses. if you are lucky, you might get to have surf & turf (beef FILET & KING prawn) for only $80 something. the beef was very juicy and the prawn was great too. the waitress told me that most of their food supply come from the market nearby, so that the food are mostly very fresh. the set lunch menu is different every week, so that i will go at least once a week. service was not bad at all with only one or two floor staff running back & forward between the dinning room & bar (they have 2 entrances, one in dinning room & one in the bar. the restaurant is located between two street). the place is very quiet after lunch hour, so that i recommend you that is a really good place to go for either meeting friends or clients!!

low level of service from bad waiter

If you’re looking for place to hanging on without any services level, it’s definitely a place for you. I went there for lunch with friend yesterday, and order set lunch which is “King Prawn”with something.Their deliverable is definitely not “King Prawn”, the size was as similar as shrimp. Waitress could not explained on “component change - from King Prawn to shrimp”but politely, and she asked for help from Waiter, this waiter’s attitude and service drew my attention. Waiter ignored our questi

If you’re looking for place to hanging on without any services level, it’s definitely a place for you. I went there for lunch with friend yesterday, and order set lunch which is “King Prawn”with something.

Their deliverable is definitely not “King Prawn”, the size was as similar as shrimp. Waitress could not explained on “component change - from King Prawn to shrimp”but politely, and she asked for help from Waiter, this waiter’s attitude and service drew my attention. Waiter ignored our question with annoyed facial expression & asked :-
“what do you want?”in rude manner,
his second question is :-
“Tell me what do you want”in a rude manner again and without passing me any menu……( waitress collected the menu right after we finished our order. )

Frankly, I sudden found that I was not in a restaurant, I was not being served.

The fact is that I was not get my reply but forced to answer questions from a very rude waiter. If this is a set lunch about HKD30-50, I don’t have expectation of service level. However, it’s the price around HKD100, the waiter’s service level is as low as HKD0. I’m wondering the Qing management is willing to paid for this waiter’s rude manner, pls. note it’s a frontline staff.

Besides, the food quality and presentation is ok.
