Had strolled in Soho and noticed this new Portuguese restaurant on Staunton Street. Their 3-course lunch sets are $128 only, with mains covering their Piri Piri chicken, must be their signature due to the restaurant’s name, hence we got in right away.They didn’t tell us what was the soup of the day, while it was like a potato soup with veggies added, plus one piece of chorizo. We had waited for quite some time for the soup, while the mains and dessert came at appropriate timing. The signature Piri-Piri chicken was presented nicely. It came with fries, rice and salad. The other main, pork ribs, was also in a Piri-Piri lemon sauce. All the mains were of large portion. The Piri-Piri chicken was very nice. It’s spicy and hot but not very hot. I would say it’s a 小辣only. One of the other main course, grilled sardines, is also a traditional Portuguese dish. The sardines were very nice with chargrilled flavour. They were tender and juicy. I didn’t mind the small bones that much, as they were so fine and could simply eat together with the fish. The grilled sardines dish was the only item in the lunch main course section that wasn’t spicy.The dessert was premium Pastel de Nata, which was essentially Portuguese eggtart with a splash of cinnamon powder on top. When you take a mouthful that had less eggtart but more cinnamon, it would be slightly bitter from the very beginning, while it ended nicely with the sweetness from the custard. 繼續閱讀

Just walked past this hidden gem on a Friday night in LKF. I don’t usually post amazing places, but this one is top notch! AMAZING atmosphere, “Got Spoiled Service” (Louie), amazing home cooked food (Tony), insanely artistic dessert (Edward) and don’t forgot the delicious cocktails and green wine! I will definitely be back with large group and/or cozy quiet dinner for 2. MUST TRY, highly recommend! Thank you Louie, Tony and Edward The experience gave me hope and confidence that excellent service restaurants in HK still exists. 繼續閱讀

一向都好鐘意葡萄牙,佢有著世界上最好聽嘅語言,呢個地中海國家嘅飲食都相當有特色,去葡萄牙旅行就餐餐食啦,返到香港就好少食,通常都係去澳門先會品嚐葡國菜。然而澳門食開果d葡國菜分為正宗葡國菜同澳門本地葡國菜,我今次就在中環SOHO 區搵到間正宗葡萄牙廚師烹調既葡萄牙菜,相對口味系偏咸嘅,菜式方面都係葡萄牙經典款式。出面落緊毛毛細雨卻為餐廳帶來柔美嘅氣氛,在昏暗燈光中,熱情嘅侍應為我哋奉上美酒🥂🍖Chourico Assado Portuguese homemade flamed chourico HKD155侍應點完火,我發現呢個火焰真心強勁,先系本能退後幾步,隨即拎相機大影特影幾十張…正吖!足似一場火焰show,葡式香腸嘅香味環繞四周都引黎好多人目光!配上自家製麵包,同香腸嘅咸香中和返,食到葡萄牙嘅感覺,夠正宗!🐟Sardinha Assada, Portuguese grilled fresh sardines (3/6), boiled young potatoes, & bell pepper salad HKD228葡萄牙沙甸魚,賣相唔錯,三條沙甸魚整齊排放,用好味嘅沙律菜點綴,配菜系薯仔,薯仔細膩綿滑。沙旬魚烤至外皮酥脆,要小心細小魚骨,魚肉都算厚。🥘Arroz de Marisco, Portuguese Seafood Rice, Shrimps, Clams,Mussels, Squid HKD548 for 2葡萄牙海鮮飯,用咗海蝦、青口、魷魚,鮮味出色,充滿酒香,加入檸檬汁調味,番茄湯底米飯鮮甜。🥧Premium Pastel de Nata & Port Wine Baked HKD65葡撻+紅酒 美味得到昇華,用紅酒送葡撻食,感覺好正! 繼續閱讀

📍ADEGA DO ANTÓNIO THE KING OF PIRI PIRI 🔍中環蘇豪士丹頓街33號金禧大廈地舖-----出街遇上傾盆大雨,機緣巧合下來了這間餐廳吃個晚餐避雨,餐廳有上下兩層,場地頗大,係主打葡國菜嘅酒吧餐廳。見上網好評頗多,就決定一試究竟。服務員笑臉迎人,態度很好,先加一分。本想點兩杯Cocktails 試試,恰巧遇上調酒師外出,所以就轉了兩杯House Wine and White,質素不錯,兩杯都頗順滑。🍽Bifaninha:小巧可愛的漢堡,貌相精緻。麵包質地柔軟鬆軟,邊緣微脆,帶淡淡橄欖油香氣,裡面的手撕豬肉濕潤多汁,加上酸甜橄欖粒提味,整體幾有特色。🍽Whole Piri-Piri:呢道份量頗大的菜式內有烤雞、薯條、白飯同沙律等。烤雞用上佢地自製嘅辣椒醬,幾惹味,辣而不嗆,而且雞肉軟嫩多汁;白飯同傳統中式白飯不一樣,感覺有啲似馬拉式嘅椰漿飯質感。而薯條就綿綿密密,新鮮即炸。🍽Robalo Grelhado:烤海鱸魚質感緊實,簡單加上紫洋蔥、初榨橄欖油汁等等作調味,令魚質滑潤且鮮味突出,加上粉綿軟熟嘅蒸薯仔,不錯。🍽Premium Pastel de Nata & Port Wine Baked:葡撻邊緣酥脆,中央部分同港式蛋撻唔同,有灑上少許肉桂粉,質感類似比較實身嘅吉士,搭配酒精味重嘅Port Wine,甜得好有層次,幾有特色。 繼續閱讀
