Hi,Went there today for lunch, and i was quiet suprized by the quality of the set lunch.I took the frisee salad with egg and bacon bits, it was very nice with a hint a hazelnut oil in the dressing.Had pork loin for main course with a very good mashed potatoes.the portion of pork was great for the value. just could have little bit of more sauce.Panna cota for dessert.had a good glass of Sauvignon Blanc.cool.

Atmospherepen windows in the heart of Wyndham street, right below the escalators. Decoration is more Pub than Bistrot oriented but very decent. Went there on a Friday night ard 900pm - Restaurant was full with many people having a drink at the bar area. Atmosphere:
Open windows in the heart of Wyndham street, right below the escalators. Decoration is more Pub than Bistrot oriented but very decent. Went there on a Friday night ard 900pm - Restaurant was full with many people having a drink at the bar area. It was extremely noisy but this was totally expected in such kind of opened space/restaurant.

Service:
We called to make a booking 45 minutes ahead of going there and once arrived they simply could not find our reservation anymore ... The barman nicely offered us a drink while waiting for a table to make it up with us.

Sommelier:
No sommelier - Again, it is expected as the place is more of a casual pub than fine dining high end place ...

Food:
> Fine cuts / Cheese platter: A good starter for 4/5 people. The bread is served warm
> Truffle Burger: Extremely good !! Even though the truffle is probably Chinese one or "Spring Truffle" from Europe, the truffle taste is here (truffle oil maybe ?) and the juicy steak is cooked to perfection ! French fries are amazing too !
> Trufle Gnocchis: An highlight as well ! Lovely truffle/cream sauce.

Plates temperature:
Starter: N/A
Mains: Perfectly warm - Good point.

Damage:
300 hkd per head !

Conclusion:
Not a dating place for sure - This bistrot turned out to be a great place for casual diner with friends or colleagues. Food is the same level level of quality as Pastis or Saint-Germain (Happy Valley) thus very decent. I would definitely recommand this place and will probably be back for brunch (at a much more quiet time of the day).

French Onion Soup
It is bistro dish using beef broth and serves with croutons and abundance as topping (personally, I like Gruyere better). The soup was sweet and delicate, but the beef broth wasn’t strong enough.

Asparagus & Parmesan Risotto
I don’t think the chef has the Italian blood; it was a nightmare for diners. I reckon he goes to gym too often that his bicep is too strong to stir the rice. Excessive amount of parmesan cheese was added and overcooked the risotto. However, the asparagus was perfectly cooked.

Seafood Linguine
The linguine was cooked to perfection, al dente. The dish was nicely seasoned, but the seafood was overdone.

Cherry Clafouti
Prefer a sweeter vanilla custard cream with the cherry. The clafouti is soft and spongy, an ideal summer delight to end the meal.
