呢間平價韓國快餐店響尖沙咀開左好耐好出名，終於開到中環和安里。今日十二點黎唔使等位，一個人食都唔尷尬。我點左牛肉飯，等左10分鐘就有喇。牛肉飯上既旦晶瑩剔透好吸引，我將佢同啲飯同牛肉撈埋一齊，咁樣會令牛肉更滑溜更易入口。牛肉煮得幾軟熟，但飯過林，太軟身好無口感，而且整個飯味道偏淡，好彩有韓式辣醬撈一撈，加番唔少分數！

Cheapest korean food you can find in central

I was extremely hungry when i were searching for food at night around LKF area last week, i had found HUNGRY KOREAN. I have never heard of it before , so i gave them a shot. First i ordered their new food Deep fried chicken for 6 pieces which i think it was quite good compared to the other deep fried chicken around LKF.Chicken was very crispy and size was just fine for one person. and it was served nicely with green onion on top. and For a "NO MSG" chicken as they said, it was very good. NOT oil

NOT oily but crispy and juicy. and for my friend she ordered the Jia Jung Myeng. tasty like those jia jung myeng we had in korea. doesnt taste like those instant jai jung myeng in the market. it was very much KOREAN style jia jun myeng. noodle was cooked well not too hard not too soft to us. and the size for just enough for one as well. However if we needed some side dish we would have to pay extra which we didnt, because the food was served quite big to us.

we were impressed with the Jai Jung Myeng.definetly will come back for it. Cheaper than most of the restaurant around that area. hopefully they will be here long enough so that i could come back for their food more often.

Very disappointed…

I like this restaurant very very much since they opened. The food was delicous and service was excllent good. It has been 3 months that I did not go to Hungry Korea in Central. Last Friday, I were there with my colleague and totally disappointed. No more familiar faces of waitresses/waiters. I ordered a Spicy Pork served with rice. Have a look of attached picture... I cannot believe that 98% are veggie and less than 8 pieces of shredded pork. I nicely told the waitress and her immediate react wa

I like this restaurant very very much since they opened. The food was delicous and service was excllent good. It has been 3 months that I did not go to Hungry Korea in Central. 

Last Friday, I were there with my colleague and totally disappointed. No more familiar faces of waitresses/waiters. I ordered a Spicy Pork served with rice. Have a look of attached picture... I cannot believe that 98% are veggie and less than 8 pieces of shredded pork. 

I nicely told the waitress and her immediate react was yell loud to the kitchen "client said not enough pork" which she didnt pass on my message correctly.

Then, I approach another waitress and the answer was "Chef prepared two portions at once thus the meat might not equally put into two seperate dishes. Perhaps you can get back some shredded pork from your colleague dish."

I was totally disappointed... Honestly speaking, the portion that my colleague has is a standard portion as we have been there many many times. I dont mind portion cut since everything is expensive in the market. However, I cannot accept 98% were veggie!

Of course I definately continuous go to other Hungry Korea restaurant as the food is so food but then I 100% sure I NEVER EVER RETURN TO CENTRAL SHOP ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!  


Good luck! If you insist to check this shop out! Hope Chef is in a good mood and give you what you paid.

8點幾開完會,係中環呢個高消費區想搵地方食飯,唔係到到都負擔得起。我地一行四人搵到呢間係暗街gr韓國野,最後埋單都平均都只係9十幾蚊。值日一讚係服務態度良好!我地叫左6碟野:1.炸餃子-正常野2.炒粉絲-雖然個樣好普通,點知第一啖有驚喜.d粉絲超入味。3.炒年糕-本身我唔好食年糕所以無乜好感,淨係覺得食緊d粉團咁!4.牛仔骨-呢個係晚餐限定,但其實無乜特別,我覺得我俾佢張相呃左5.雜菜炒牛肉-去親會韓國餐廳都會叫呢味,好岩香港人口味,不過不失6.芝士壽司-因為本身鍾意食芝士所以點左呢味,點知成份無乜味....so sad

2.炒粉絲-雖然個樣好普通,點知第一啖有驚喜.d粉絲超入味。
3.炒年糕-本身我唔好食年糕所以無乜好感,淨係覺得食緊d粉團咁!
4.牛仔骨-呢個係晚餐限定,但其實無乜特別,我覺得我俾佢張相呃左
5.雜菜炒牛肉-去親會韓國餐廳都會叫呢味,好岩香港人口味,不過不失
6.芝士壽司-因為本身鍾意食芝士所以點左呢味,點知成份無乜味....so sad

令人驚喜的速食店

有次在中環見完客，想快快食完返公司，見到轉入小街有間新韓國速食店開左，中午時間都多人排隊。門口的侍應見我一位，都盡快安排給我。態度令人滿意。點了芥末雞翼和石鍋牛肉飯，雞翼炸得鬆脆，上面加上蔥花，減低了炸的油膩感，點上芥末汁更是惹味。石鍋飯燒得有點飯焦，幸好不是太燶，剛剛好，脆脆地增加了口感。總結：難得中環有間價錢相宜的落腳點，食物惹味，下次去中環一定再試其他款式。

Hungry Korean is in Central!

I used to go to the TST shop with my girlfriend but since I started working in Central now, I haven't been back for quite some time. As I happened to pass by Wo On Lane recently, I noticed a new Hungry Korean shop has opened up. The few times I walked by during lunch it was jam-packed, so of course I didn't bother waiting. It was not until last week when I finally had the chance to go for dinner after work with two friends of mine. The first impression was good. The shop was neat and clean. The

The few times I walked by during lunch it was jam-packed, so of course I didn't bother waiting. It was not until last week when I finally had the chance to go for dinner after work with two friends of mine. The first impression was good. The shop was neat and clean. The layout is a little different than the one in TST, probably less space but the new interior is quite refreshing. The staff there look young and I suspect one or two of them must be Korean.

Since there were 3 of us, we could order quite a few items to share, not to mention it was also the first time I tried their dinner specials

Banchan - The fish cake was a bit small (asian size!) but I shouldn't complain since 3 side dishes altogether were only HKD15. The mashed potato was absolutely gorgeous. It was very creamy and we ended up asking for more mased potato. My recommendation is to add deep fried potato as one of the sides, which I used to have back in Canada.

 Dukbokgi - The rice cake was very chewy. One of my friends said it wasn't spicy enough but I thought it was just right. The only thing I would do diffrently was to have the egg half cooked, but I'm not sure if that would take the authenticity away.

 Bul Go Gi Jeon Gol - Since one of my friends doesn't like spicy food, we ordered this specifically for her. The soup base was quite nice, loaded with vegetable, beef and noodles.

 Japchae - The japchae was my favourite of all the snacks we ordered. It was refreshing and the sesame oil definitely added a lot of flavour to it.

 Korean beef short ribs - First time trying this and I was quite pleasantly surprised. Also good for sharing.

 Seafood Pancake - It was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The seafood selection on it was good, definitely added to the crispiness.  

Overall, food was great... service was exceptional... place was a bit small... definitely a good chill-out place in Central!

題外話/補充資料： I saw an Ice Cream signage outside but didn't see any desserts on the menu... wonder what they will actually serve ice cream!
