A while ago, Causeway Bay only had main stream coffee shops. Pacific Coffee, Starbucks. If you wanted something a bit more independent, I had to go to Central or Sheung Wan. But recently, a few have started to open in the area. Joy!N.O.C. is new to the Causeway Bay area. With branches throughout Hong Kong island, it has a chic design. Menu is in English only with no 10% service charge. They do offer other drinks other than coffee for those that don't want that, but why bother coming here if you aren't going to drink coffee?
I ordered a medium latte ($40). They only offer a small size for espresso. So, that was a bit strange to have the small size price listed if it's not available. You get a choice of what beans you want use from their daily selection of two. The latte art was lovely. Very well done. I wanted a more nuttier bean and this is what I got. Though not as nutty as I would have liked but it was quite good. Milk to espresso ratio was good. It smelled fantastic as well.
A good addition to the coffee scene in Causeway Bay. Seating is limited but I noticed most people came for take away anyways. Will be back.
