Being able to diner here, we decided to go for all the specialty that was recommended. The set lunch was under $200 for an appetizer, main and a drink. Both of the mains we ordered - slow roasted free range chicken and slow-braised beef cheek had us finishing the dishes to the very last tiny bite. The sauce that accompanied the beef cheek was finished as though it was soup, it was that good!!!😍😍 I would seriously want to drink it as soup.
At first, I wanted to try the foie gras with the apple that was highlighted as a signature dish, but it was unfortunately out of stock. We were still able to add on foie gras onto our mains, but thought it was nothing too special without that apple as a pairing that we really wanted to try!
To end the meal, we pre-ordered the mao-tai cheesecake which also had a very interesting twist to it, combining local flavours with a basic western dessert. It reminded me of a rum raisin dessert.
I would come all the way again to dine here, but last we heard they were fully booked until the end of May! 😳
