Pretty standard subway like all others. The food is going to be the same consistency from every store that you go to. For this time I got a tuna wrap as it has less carbs in it. Was tasty, I do like the tuna flavours. The veggies are always fresh, they dont use old veggies which is a good sign of quality control. The wraps are good and light, but they only have one flavour which can be a bit boring. Service is always standard, everytime I visit I always see new people, never the same people.

Subway is a good and quick go to place for lunch. I hope they have more special deals. Subway is one of my favorite chains by far. I have eaten (happily) at Subways from the Vancouver to Hong Kong.Remember when you were a kid and you loved Chef Boyardee? How you thought all those annoying noodles were just getting in the way of the meatballs? For nostalgia lovers, this vegetable-free option will make it worth splashing red sauce all over your face, remember to add extra melted cheese.

Don't know what is it with all the bad reviews. Im actually quite shocked to see them because this is probably by far the best subway branch tht I've been to in hk compared with the other older branches in Wan Chai and Central. The staffs are nice and patient, I've seen them keeping up all the smiles even when some customers struggle to order step by step with English. They also give the most generous portions for EVERYTHING. I've only been there twice but in both cases my subway is super stuffe

The staffs are nice and patient, I've seen them keeping up all the smiles even when some customers struggle to order step by step with English. They also give the most generous portions for EVERYTHING. I've only been there twice but in both cases my subway is super stuffed, one time it was literally drenched with sauce with the fillings close to spilling over. That has never happened to when I bought sandwiches from other subway branches, usually they were super conscious of the portion sizes especially for meat and add-ons like extra egg mayo. I've seen throwing chicken pieces back into the basin because I suppose they think one more fillet is unacceptable with their company policy (?) and with egg mayo they always give you a meager spoonful of it that wasn't even full. This subway branch does the opposite of all the above, and I am OVERJOYED that such a branch still exist.
I'm so glad that I discovered this branch randomly while I was strolling in Sheung Wan. This is probably the only subway shop that I'll ever recommend to ppl and definitely my go to spot whenever my subway cravings is up, because at least I'll know I'm not paying for anything less. (It compensates back for all those 99% of the time when I'm probably getting only 70% of what I paid for in a subway sandwich)

I've never written a review of the same place twice. Mostly I think it's a bad practice, because it skews the results in one person's favor, and I think it's best to have an unbiased sampling of opinions about any restaurant. However, moral outrage is an acceptable reason to suspend my general practice.Read my last review for the details, but in summary: Subway has a policy of putting 4 slices of turkey on turkey sandwiches. Read my last review for the details, but in summary: Subway has a policy of putting 4 slices of turkey on turkey sandwiches. The representative on Subway's facebook page confirmed this to me. This subway location deliberately gives you 1/4 less food.
I vowed not to eat here again, but one day I was rushed and wanted a sub and didn't have time to wait in line at the IFC subway. This one is on my way to work, so I thought: "it's been months, maybe they've changed." That was stupid of me and I deserved what I got (see picture).
But you deserve better. Other Subway restaurants in HK will not cheat you, so I recommend skipping this one.
It's hard to quantify being cheated. At most places, if they give you a small portion how are you supposed to argue that you really paid for more? I go to Subway a lot. When I lived in the States, I mostly when to mom & pop sandwich shops, which are everywhere in a state like New Jersey. Now here in Hong Kong, I need my sandwich fix and there's only so many places near me. I hate Oliver's; Meli Melo is great, but closed on weekends-- what's a guy to do? Go to Subway.Anyway, I've observed that re

Go to Subway.
Anyway, I've observed that recently, Subway restaurants have started putting only 3 slices of turkey on a turkey sandwich, when I distinctly remember that I used to get 4. The meat is the most substantive part of the sandwich, and probably the most expensive thing on it, so to give customers 25% less for the same price is pretty low. I was passively accepting this fact for a while, but the last straw was when I got a sandwich at this Sheung Wan Subway and it came with the following advertisement:
I don't know about you, but I count eight slices of turkey there, possibly nine. The pictures above the sandwich counter at the restaurant are a little better... they only have six slices pictured. Anyway, here's the sandwich I got today:
Yep, three slices again. The sandwich artist making the sandwich actually took four slices out of the turkey tub, put three on the sandwich and threw the fourth one back in the tub! Either she was never trained or she was explicitly instructed to cheat people.
I went so far as to contact Jack Zhang, who's in charge of Subway development in HK. He told me this: "Subway’s standard 6 inch sub has 4 slices of turkey in it. As for the advertisement photo, the turkey slices were folded in few layers & placed more outward for illustrative purpose." I'm not sure I buy the claim about the photo. Even if it is just four slices, it's very misleading.
As for today's sandwich, it was OK. Thin on the meat, as I've said, and also the lettuce was a little brown (I hope you can see that in the photo). I've gotten spicy jalapenos in the past, but this time they didn't have any kick. I was pleased with both the quality and the quantity of the tomatoes, and the sandwich artist honored my request for only "a little bit" of mayo. If the lettuce weren't brown and they didn't give me 25% less meat than advertised, I probably would have given this sandwich a "B-". As it is, it gets a D, poor.
題外話/補充資料:
Subway lets you complain on their website, but they make you give them your email address, which they share with other companies for marketing purposes. I contacted them through facebook.
