Best Pizza in Mui Wo!

I went to the Kitchen earlier this month, and have been several times since late last year (2013) and have found it to be WONDERFUL. Reading previous reviews i'd like to say to first-timers and previous patrons alike - Please don't be deterred by the negative reviews. The Kitchen's management has changed hands very recently (I admit, about a year ago I went and it wasn't all that great) but it has done a complete 360 turnaround and is honestly delightful now. I went to the Kitchen earlier this month, and have been several times since late last year (2013) and have found it to be WONDERFUL.

Reading previous reviews i'd like to say to first-timers and previous patrons alike - Please don't be deterred by the negative reviews. The Kitchen's management has changed hands very recently (I admit, about a year ago I went and it wasn't all that great) but it has done a complete 360 turnaround and is honestly delightful now.

I'm an avid pizza lover and there are a few places in Mui Wo to choose from when in need of a pizza fix, but i'd say the Kitchens is by far the best.
My personal favorite is the Pepperoni, though I have also tried the Parma Ham, and the Spicy Bolognese - all very generously topped and equally delicious. My preference in crust was always moderate-thick, but after having their thin-crusted variety i'd say i've found my taste has changed. 
My dining partner ordered their Spicy Arribiata pasta the last time I dined there (they make the pasta themselves!) with bacon, and that too was extremely tasty - an awesome kick to it!

Our waiting time for food was 10-15 minutes, much improved since I was there a year ago. 
The service is good, they have a much smaller staff base now, and they are lovely.The interior make-over in and of itself gives it a completely different feel - very zen, relaxing.

The location isn't ideal, but the food and nice vibe inside more than make up for it in my opinion.
If you've had a bad experience here in the past, I can say with full faith that you won't be disappointed if you choose to go back and let them change your minds.

非常好食pizza 值得一試

平時會時不時到外面吃pizza 或者叫外賣pizza, 但都沒有什麼覺得特別好吃的.這次假期去了大嶼山試了這家外表不出眾的意大利餐廳The Kitchen ,竟然有意外的發現, 就是他們做的pizza很好吃"皮薄餡靚"  pizza 餅由於是人手即叫即做,做出來的效果很薄脆, pizaa餡料也很用夠料,用料新鮮同芝士也加得均衡得宜. 因此我同太太今行都食多了份量, 至於其他食物也算有水準,在這就不多詳述了, 但pizza是絶對值得一試的!

    值得推介的意大利餐廳

    同事食過介紹, 於是夜晚成班同事收工去左梅窩試下, 一試有驚喜真心第一次食意大利菜, 正唔正宗就唔知喇, 不過又真係幾好食, 而且又唔貴一行七人點左1) 三文魚沙律 x 12) PIZZA X 2 3) PASTA X 4 4) 牛扒x15) 羊架x16) 紅酒x17) 甜品 tirimisu餐廳門口, 沿碼頭行3分鐘就到達, 空間不大, 但環境不錯, 光顧的大多是外籍人士, 平日都坐滿人, 如果假期去最好BOOK 位.好大個pizza, 好脆好香, 叫左兩種口味, 一個唔記得影份量都幾足, 薯條都好好味肉醬意粉牛扒好juicy, 正!好味, 之後encore 叫多碟D 雞都幾滑, 唔錯

    Outdoor seating with a trailer park view

    I was passing through on a hike and thought I might sit down and have a quick bite. I ordered a pizza and was amazed that anyone could pass that oily burnt shapeless thing as pizza.It was supposed to be parma ham and rocket but it was some other ham. The loud trucks loading gas cylinders along the ferry pier road did not make for a peaceful meal either. Nor did I enjoy the view of trucks speeding by.Beer was chilled atleast but the glass was not clean.

    Chaos is every field

    The place was messy, dirty, had children serving. Nothing was organized. We waited for 3 hours and they then told us they had forgotten our order. FInally a child took our order only to spill half the pint and and serve me my food with a serving spoon (since they ran out of cutlery) and a saucer to eat in (since they had no crockery). Then a bald chinese girl puts down our trout that was forced upon us. She was munching on bread and when my husband asked her for cutlery, she said there was none

She was munching on bread and when my husband asked her for cutlery, she said there was none and when we commented on her eating while serving she told us she was working since early morning and was very hungry and didnt care because she was leaving.
    Home made pasta was a joke. The mince was sprinkled on it like a garnish. The tables were broken and there were dogs and birds running in and out. There was also a visit by the local police. Seems like they have no license and there were strange chinese man observing and taking pictures from across the street. So we left after this waste of a sunday. I was ill for 3 days after eating the bad trout (which was forced upon us).
    Mui Wo has so many nice places to sit and eat. This place is worth a miss till they sort out their business.
