TRi is definitely one of a kind, from the moment you step into the restaurant you feel like you've left the busy city and the stress that comes with it behind. The soft lighting, beautiful decor, music and setting all makes for a very romantic evening.The food was absolutely delicious, simple but made with cooked to perfection and each dish comes with a different sauce that complements and enhances the flavors. The food was absolutely delicious, simple but made with cooked to perfection and each dish comes with a different sauce that complements and enhances the flavors. I'd recommend getting the sweet potato sides and trying the Duck Goreng! The meat is juicy and tendor and the skin is perfectly chrispy!  Easily one of the best restaurants in town but I'd suggest making a reservation in advance so you get a seat at the lotus shaped tables on the water for an extra romantic night!

Always been a big fan of Bibo.Knowing the opening of Tri at the Pulse and made a rsvp here just for my mom's birthday celebration dinner.I've been to Jakarta many times and tried different Indonesian food. Gado gado being my favourite salad. I have personally never tried Bali cuisine.After parking at the pulse, took the elevator to 3/f and Tri has a beautifully designed entrance with bamboo. I've been to Jakarta many times and tried different Indonesian food. Gado gado being my favourite salad. I have personally never tried Bali cuisine.
After parking at the pulse, took the elevator to 3/f and Tri has a beautifully designed entrance with bamboo. Walking up the stairs and you will enter another world. We all felt like we were at a getaway. The garlic design booth and the whole restaurant is really modern and zen. Next time I would come during the day (now they only open for dinner, but soon they will serve brunch and lunch) to admire the Balinese art.
We've ordered a few dishes on the menu.
Start from Gado gado ( I expected it would be a salad with the sauce but it's served as a wrap here so I'm a bit disappointed but the sauce is utterly good). Second is Jamur squid ( it's stuffed with mushroom I assume and its very tasty). Third we had mixed satay ( beef and chicken are very tender). Next we had coral trout ( small portion but it's very fresh and comes with scallop and local squid, the dish even better if there are more curry ). After that, we had iga sapi( slow cooked at 60 degree for two days rib , super tender and coated with meshed coffee beans, we all loved it). We also ordered Nasi Kunning ( yellow ginger rice )and morning glory and it's a good match.
How could we end the dinner without dessert, right? We ordered four desserts . They are all really tasty!!!
Panacotta (roasted pineapple, roasted coconut, cinnamon black rice icecream) is cool,
Es Buah (exotic fruit salad with pandan crème anglaise and herb sorbet) is very refreshing. Dadar Guling (Balinese pancake with coconut filling, poppy seed crumble and mango sorbet) is my sister and cousin favourite .
I've chosen coffee cocoa (shortbread with coffee cream, chocolate, cocoa nib tuille and stracciatella ) to be the birthday cake !
Thanks Tri! I can't wait to be back for brunch!
It's now soft opening so the menu has only two pages but they will add more soon!!!!
