The transformation is amazing! The transformation is amazing! Went there around 4:30pm & got seated right away, lunch and dinner time has crazy queue! Food is fair, the standard that u'd expect from any Genki, choices r alright as well. Each table gets a tablet to order, very easy to use, and the Kousoku-delivered sushi takes only a short time after the ordering. Got the booth seat next to the kitchen, it's exciting simply to look at trains delivering the dishes. After taking ur sushi, press the lighted genki button to command the train to leave ur "station". If it got overtime, the beep sound will start until u press the button. The transformation should enhance operational efficiency, save much labour cost and food cost and avoid food wastage (without having the same dish going around for uncountable times...). It's also very fun for patrons too, without changing much of how the set up looks to avoid much difference. A great sample of the Experience Economy. It's overall a very good experience (except a minor thing is that kitchen should wipe the trains every time before they deliver the sushi to make sure they look neat & tidy at all times)! They even change the design of the dishes, with short messages to echo the store name "genki"!
