This is a very famous Korean pizza restaurant in Hong Kong. Famous for its pizza and long queue. We went there at around 4pm in one of the weekends and so surprised that there was literally no one waiting. We could go directly into the restaurant and make our orders. After chatting with the staff, we found that the last order had to be made before 16:15 for lunch hours. We were so lucky that we could get in there perfectly just on time. 🥰
Maru Calamari Twigim ($83)
As a starter, fried food is unquestionable. Having squid rings is definitely more creative than french fries.
Sweet Chilli Gangjeong Chicken (Not Spicy) (6 pcs $118) 🍗
I literally cannot take any spicy food. ANY. Pizza Maru is being honest when it says on the menu that this dish is not spicy. It tasted like Chinese sweet and sour chicken, but with bones. The chicken was tender and juicy.
Bulgogi Chicago 9” ($186) 🍕
When you go to Pizza Maru, you have to try its signature Chicago deep dish pizza. The pizza was so cheesy. With bulgogi and tomato sauce. The stuffed crust was tasty too. Yum! 😍
