I was recommended by a local friend so I tried it out yesterday at lunch time. They have normal size bowls as well as mini bowls which many people were ordering and sharing among group which was lovely to see. I ordered Marinated Chirashi Don (Mixed sashimi bowl) and when it arrived I was excited to see how fresh fish seemed and was presented well. I ordered Marinated Chirashi Don (Mixed sashimi bowl) and when it arrived I was excited to see how fresh fish seemed and was presented well. Unfortunately being a Hokkaido girl I was disappointed to see instead of sushi vinegar rice inside was rice mixed with "furikake" - powder you mix in to make rice balls😱This is absolutely unheard of in Japan.
If you are used to eating authentic sushi bowls I won't recommend ordering any of their sashimi bowls because the flavour of furikake ruins the sashimi.
