I used to bring a ABC colleague to their Wan Chai branch to have semi buffet one year ago, since he was on a low carb diet. At that time I felt the resuarant just so-so since the only meat (BBQ ribs) very dry. After one year, it became my turn to lose weight ><, so I would like to give them another try. They don't have service charge on Monday so there I came. Ordered salad bar only as I remember my colleague complained their main dishesSoup: mushroom soup with bread. It's a pity that you
Soup: mushroom soup with bread. It's a pity that you have to wait the waitress to give it to you so you only have one bowl.
Hot dishes: sausages, roasted chicken breast, sweet potato wedges(not crispy, all stick together with sause...), Buddhist's Delight(without mushrooms)
Salad: red butterhead lettuce, rocket, kale(I treat it as a super superstition)...
Tapas: olivers, mini pastry tuna rolls, flax tofu, tangerine with soy sause
Fruits: melons, watermelons, strawberries, blueberries(very few)
Dessert: a piece of pandan cake with strawberry sause, looks like a Christams tree
Drink: I ordered iced coffee without sugar, suitable for me as it is neither bitter nor sour.
Quite good compared to the set lunch downstairs ($95 up). Maybe not some many choices as some lunch buffect in old hotels but foods here are few but good, cooked in a serious way!
題外話/補充資料:
I taught the waitor (a young boy) how to swipe my credit card as he tried three times all in a wrong way...Am I doing good today?
