I really could not remember my last Japanese all-you-want-to-eat buffet experience in MK. Maybe when I was still a teenager? With our recent good experiences at 滿屋 in CWB, my dinner partner suggested trying out 御滿屋 in MK. So why not?It was my first visit. Location was very convenient, right outside MK MTR exit. Price was $10 cheaper than that in CWB at $228 per head for a 2-hour dinner buffet plus 10% service charge for Mon to Thu. If you book via OpenRice, there would be a 5% discount for dinn
It was my first visit. Location was very convenient, right outside MK MTR exit. Price was $10 cheaper than that in CWB at $228 per head for a 2-hour dinner buffet plus 10% service charge for Mon to Thu. If you book via OpenRice, there would be a 5% discount for dinner up to 10p.m. It was so full on a normal Tuesday night. Here you go a highlight of the food items.

We ordered a lot for a few selected items and basically all we asked for were served to us.
北海道帶子 were fresh!
赤貝 and 馬刀貝 were fresh and crispy.
甜蝦 were fresh and sweet.
油甘魚 was thick and fresh.

Sushi: 6 types, including 黑松露牡丹蝦壽司, 醬油漬吞拿魚壽司, 三文魚腩壽司, 黑松露空運間八壽司, 柚子油甘魚壽司, 松葉蟹柳壽司.
黑松露空運間八壽司 was rich in black truffle and the sashimi was so fresh!

Seared Sushi: 6 types, including 蒜蓉和牛, 三文魚, 黑椒廣島蠔, 海膽墨魚, 芝士青口, 鰻魚.
蒜蓉和牛 smelt so rich of garlic sauce. The beef was not bad.
海膽墨魚 had fresh uni with no nasty flavour.

Creative Sushi: 4 types, including 海苔牛油醬伴鮑汁元貝, 鵝肝伴帶子壽司, 海膽吞拿魚茸壽司, 芝士肉醬玉子燒.
海膽吞拿魚茸壽司 had fresh uni and very smooth minced tuna!
Hand Rolls: 3 types, including 海膽, 北寄貝沙律, 麻辣蜆肉.

香蔥吞拿魚茸 had super smooth minced tuna. Seaweed was somewhat crispy.
卷物:6 types, including 花之戀, 香芒軟殼蟹, 芝士魚柳, 雙重芝士鰻魚, 雜果加州, 蟹子沙律小卷.

炸物: 5 types, including 水牛芝士, 芝麻雞翼, 自家吉列炸蠔, 紫心香芋丸, 榴槤炸彈. Basically all of these were nicely deep-fried! Very high quality.
自家吉列炸蠔 was very juicy with super crispy batter.
榴槤炸彈 had durian lava flowing out. Even non-durian-lovers like me enjoyed it!
紫心香芋丸 was just slightly sweet and was quite nice.
水牛芝士 was cheesy and it was interesting.

鹽燒牛舌 was super good to chew and rich in ox tongue flavour. Very well seasoned too!
鹽燒海蝦 was fresh and even the shells seemed edible!
燒新鮮菠蘿 was juicy and just slightly sour which was appetising! We encored many rounds.

燒紐西蘭羊鞍 was always the best! well seasoned with crispy crust yet still juicy and tender inside! The thin lamb racks tasted better!
西京比目魚 was slightly sweet and was super super smooth inside with crispy crust.
蒲燒鰻魚 was really excellent when served hot.
一品料理: 6 types, including 燕窩瑤柱蟲花鮮蝦魚片粥, 御品鮑汁燴花膠, 鮮茄甘蝦湯海鮮鍋, 牛肉鍋, 日式赤紅牛肉拉麵 and 牛肉烏冬.
鮮茄甘蝦湯海鮮鍋 was good for some healthy veggies consumption. It was very healthy with some veggies like 小棠菜, wa wa choy, tomatoes. There were a few prawns, octopus and clams. We encored once more!

和風牛柳粒 was quite tender and well seasoned. Portion was generous!
竹笙瑤柱蟹肉翅: The soup was clear and tasty and there were lots of ingredients including 竹笙, chicken pieces, loads of dried scallops and some crab meat. There was also some shark fin. It would have been better if there was red vinegar.

美國薄燒牛肉 was not bad and they were well seasoned with generous portion.
香煎蝦餃子 didn't have crispy pan-fried wrapping but the wrapping was quite al dente so good to chew. There were loads of stuffings inside.
To order any of the food items above, we had to scan a QR code and there was no longer a menu for you to read and tick. Although there was some technical problem in the middle of our meal, the staffers immediately helped to investigate.

Ice-cream: We could each choose an ice-cream cup from Haagen Dazs, Movenpick or Dreyer's of a few choices for each brand. For Haagen Dazs, they had Belgian Chocolate, Caramel Biscuit & Cream and this Cantaloupe Melon ice cream which was seasonal. But we could only choose one per head.
As soon as we entered the restaurant, there was a big buffet table serving cold seafood like shrimps, clams, 螺, duck breasts, spicy chicken feet, Japanese appetizers, Korean pickled spicy cabbages, 枝豆 and salad. There was even a chocolate fountain and a popcorn machine!
For deep fried food, they had Portuguese egg tarts, 脆薯格, chicken nuggets, 蝦片. In the middle there was a pot of soup.
They also had some cooked hot dishes including fried choy sum, jade melons, salmon and fried pork slices. The fried choy sum and jade melon cubes were quite well fried that I had two rounds to satisfy my veggies need.
The Portuguese tart had super crispy and countless layers of tart base.
There were 3 big fridges of cold drinks.
There was a sake corner with free flow of sake at your own service.
They had a lot of small mousses, cakes, puddings and Japanese desserts.

There were two types of fruits - water melon and hami melon. The water melon slices were super juicy and sweet. The melon slices were sweet too!
Most food items we had ordered were brought to us very soon especially the sushi. Two hours was definitely sufficient for you to eat as much as you want. In view of the quality and variety of food and drinks against the cheap price, it was really highly recommended.
