The lastest Typhoon / Monsoon weather has been kind of unpredictable. Sometimes you carry around your umbrella for a few days and it doesn't end up raining, but every other time when you leave it at the office or at home, it rains like there's no tomorrow... how many umbrellas have you bought or had accidentally left behind at a shop lately!? I recall my friend telling me I could hire a McDonald's Umbrella for $30. It's actually made very well & sturdy, with a tough canvas top and hard durable ridges that doesn't flip itself backwards whenever there's the slightest gust of wind. Return this to McDonald's afterwards and exchange it back for an equivalent value Food Voucher... Its like renting one for free then!
(That's provided you do eat or drink at either McDonald's or McCafe, as it cannot be exchanged back for cash again. Hope this helps to beat the weather!)
