寫這裡時已覺得肯定有人會話你無 Taste,因為有啲人好喜歡這麼想.咁多好地方唔去, 你連海皇粥店都去食? McDonald's 你都啱? 迴轉壽司你也食??你咁渣, 肯定你係唔識食嘢嘅人..其實迴轉壽司為何食不過..? 在日本, 大罷日本人日日在進食. 日本很多迴轉的水準甚至差過香港的多多聲, 但人地壽司國的人也照食可也. 我未食過米芝連三星鮨店嗎? 也食過了.但立食的平價鮨店或麵店或松屋 也食過不知多少次.McDonald's 我個個星期都去的, 你有你地食茶餐廳, 我有我食同樣是 Junk Food Status 的麥記...你馮這些就可以話人唔識食嘅咩? 我也不會話人食完ABC茶餐廳個早餐或最近勁開的點心店,就話人唔識食, 你好渣, 因為好食的早餐同點心應該係四季酒店或文華先有得食. 我反而覺得, 知道咩係 Horses for Courses 的道理同去俾分, 才是真正的識食者! ******************- YES. 咁多好地方唔去, 你連海皇粥店都去食?

迴轉壽司你也食??
你咁渣, 肯定你係唔識食嘢嘅人..
其實迴轉壽司為何食不過..? 在日本, 大罷日本人日日在進食.
日本很多迴轉的水準甚至差過香港的多多聲, 但人地壽司國的人也照食可也.
我未食過米芝連三星鮨店嗎? 也食過了.
但立食的平價鮨店或麵店或松屋 也食過不知多少次.

我也不會話人食完ABC茶餐廳個早餐或最近勁開的點心店,
就話人唔識食, 你好渣, 因為好食的早餐同點心應該係四季酒店或文華先有得食.
我反而覺得, 知道咩係 Horses for Courses 的道理同去俾分,
才是真正的識食者!

- YES. The white congee is thickened artificially, its bland. But I feel comfortable sitting and eating it here.
- YES. The stir fry noodles are lifeless, fullstop.
- The accompanying Chinese Crullers in Rice Paper Roll can sometimes be cold, soft & chewy, they don't even have proper sesame but only peanut sauce for eating it with.
- BUT, they now also carry a new Crispy Tempura style Prawns in Rice Paper Roll topped with a bit of Pork Floss (脆蝦腸粉), which is quite unique to this shop. Its actually not bad!
係出面, 好食過這裡的粥店一定大霸, 就連知粥嘗樂都好過佢!
但嚟海王, 也真的有原因:
- The staff are friendly and well trained.
- Its not overly crowded like some other congee places.
- Its hygienic, the food and especially congee has not much MSG, its therefore a pretty fast, clean & neutral meal: sometimes its good for detoxing or as a palate resetter.
- Where are the other shops located relative to home or office?
- Are them conveniently located so you can visit when you need it the most, like when you are sick and need some light food for supper?
- Are they even open at this time of the late night?
- Will they be nice clean and spotless, the oldish serving ladies all carrying a smile and who are only there to earn some part time money too, in a fully legitimate shop?
