apr 26, 13.......2人來dinner.........叫咗 : 1) bread basket (免費)-都有唔少麵包款式-入口暖熱,都唔錯2) classic caesar salad (hk$68)-with candied bacon, herb croutons, shaved parmesan & house made anchovy dressing-菜新鮮,脆身-anchovy dressing微"杰"身,用嚟配caesar salad幾特別-不過個人喜歡parmesan cheese再刨薄d 3) dry aged us prime rib of beef on the bone - server's choice grading (hk$998)-待應推介dry aged us prime rib (36 oz),有2款 (server's choice grading同prime grading)-當初擔心太大portion食唔晒,不過問真d先知喺連骨先有36oz-最後揀來平少少的server's choice grading-要求唔好煮多過medi

-當初擔心太大portion食唔晒,不過問真d先知喺連骨先有36oz
-最後揀來平少少的server's choice grading
-要求唔好煮多過medium
-未上個牛之前,侍應會拎出1盤唔同類形嘅刀比你揀...........既細心又專業
-厚切,肉色粉嫩,脂肪膏都不少
-伴以2個sauce,我追問下先知1個喺pepper汁,1個唔記得喺嘜...........微微"杰"身
-肉質粉嫩,唔乾,都juicy,唯獨牛味不重,亦有少少筋
-不過骨位嘅肉燒得香口,又唔會乾到變柴..........反而比大大件嘅牛扒有賣點
-坦白講,都成$1,000 1塊牛扒,質素可以好d............好似1/2年前去soho嘅on lot xx...........個法國牛..........價$$$$相若.........但就gd好多
-事後望番食友們嘅建議..........都喺話比多$100多元食prime grading因為肉味會濃好多..........真喺失敗,叫錯咗~~~不過我又諗,如果差$100多元會差咁遠............咁呢個server's choice grading嘅賣點/定位又喺咩呀?_?
*喺落order嘅過程............我覺得侍應嘅service令我好有食緊茶餐廳feel.........初時我話36oz太多..........佢反建議食個full dinner set........個牛會細份d...........不過我見個full dinner set都唔少嘢...........所以話我唔食set.........佢即時dead air..........佢唔似諗緊點回答你好..........因佢見後面枱要assistance.........即刻好快咁講 "你睇吓先啦" (幸好語氣唔喺屈嗰隻)...........就1支箭咁走咗去後面枱..........連友人(唔喺煩友.....我先喺)都覺得好似有被掉下嘅感覺........你自己諗掂佢啦
*之後我clarify多句是否36oz喺連骨計.........所以最後就決定1試呢個signature..........我張喺正方形枱仔........佢企喺我對家位置同我落單........但多次聽唔清楚我講咩 (佢嘅表情會好清楚講比你知)...........佢只喺將身體向前傾/狂傾........而唔喺正路咁行去我旁邊.............其實我身邊有足夠位置比佢企.............我就唯有大聲少少講多次..........因餐廳喺咁好情調嘅環境..........我唔想滋擾到旁邊嘅食客............點解作為食客,我仲concern過佢會否影響到其他客人呢?..............費解!!!!!
*之後2個sauce...........又無介紹清楚...........我問佢喺咩sauce..........佢即時識答............所以佢唔喺唔識.........只喺唔覺得有責任對客人交待多句
*所以我覺得部份侍應唔夠heart..........要食客反主動問番你轉頭d菜色嘅基本細節.........細微地方盡顯服務magnitude不足...........亦唔夠skillful去處理有要求嘅客人........你唔喺賣緊幾$10/餐............客人有要求亦好正路啫
*餐廳decoration同情調不錯.......檔次不差........可惜d服務質素未到位............似喺去咗環境靚咗,侍應儀表光鮮咗嘅茶記
*服務呢欄唔合格..........餐廳唔好展望升格...........唔降班都偷笑
-chantilly cream, new season aust. strawberries
-呢個我見食友讚過,所以就叫來呢款甜品作結
-個士多啤梨片薄切,照直徑睇,粒士多啤梨好大吓,自然微酸
-連埋士多啤梨汁,又唔喺好甜
-個pavolva又唔喺好甜喎,又夠鬆,入口溶化
-的確不錯.......我1個人食晒佢都得呀~~~~
-有bon bon, brownie同cookie
-味道都ok,以petit fours嚟講,已很不錯了
題外話/補充資料:
* 同友人傾得開心...........不過餐廳就比咗個不多爽嘅fri我~~~
