Braised Beef Noodles ($92) and Three-Combo Beef Noodles ($105) were similar.
Braised Beef Noodles contained shank with tendon whereas three-combo contained shank, tendon and tripe.
All beef was well marinated. The tripe was tender, tendon was al-dente and the shank was bit tough.
The soup was rich and the noodle was al-dente.
Taiwanese Meatballs ($40), an ancient Taiwanese snack, are only served in limit time in the shop.
The portion size was not big but reasonable.
Mixture of mirin, salted fish and garlic could be smelled when the meatball served on the table.
The translucent round wrapping, was made of glutinous rice flour, was fried with crispy outside and chewy inside.
It tasted like Chaozhou dumpling. It was tasty.
The minced pork inside was marinated well with dices of bamboo shoot.
Tasted good and worth trying.
Roasted Wheat Flour Bubble Tea ($44) was served in limited time here as well.
Roasted wheat flour, again, was the ancient Taiwanese snack.
Different from another tea shop, the pearl here is chewy though much smaller in size.
The roasted wheat flour was evenly mixed into the drink.
A spoonful of flour had nice flavor of peanut and sesame.
The layer and the texture of tea were enriched and enhanced to another level. Tasted great!
It must WOW the bubble tea fans
