Last week, I happened to pass by 一冰廳to grab a curry rice takeaway for my hubby’s dinner. And my hubby said it was good, so I went there two days later at around 5:15pm for a takeaway dinner for myself. However, the staff said they were closed for the day. Their closing time is 5pm 😅 probably because they just open for the factories nearby. So yesterday, I went there for lunch and ordered the 椰香黃咖哩牛筋牛腩飯. It was very yummy. So yesterday, I went there for lunch and ordered the 椰香黃咖哩牛筋牛腩飯. It was very yummy. It’s a rather sweet type of curry and the coconut milk makes the curry very thick and rich in flavour.
Yet, the portion is rather small and the curry is just enough for its not very big portion of rice.
The beef briskets were soft and full of flavour. However, there was only one piece of 牛筋… Hope they can increase the portion.
My friend othered 香蔥义燒滑蛋飯and my friend said it was good. It seems the scramble egg or omelette are outstanding. Maybe I’ll try those in my next visit.
