This famous Tokyo-based ramen restaurant has opened their first overseas branch in the heart of Wan Chai. They’re currently serving five signature ramen dishes each with its own unique twist! 🍜🇯🇵 Pic 1️⃣,2️⃣&3️⃣: 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐬𝐮𝐤𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧 / 特色沾麵 - $136 hkd 🐓 — So good! — So good! In comparison to most tsukemen dipping sauces, this has a much thinner consistency. This is because chef Kunimoto adds in a flavourful fish broth alongside a fragrant garlic oil to thin out the sauce, and the result is a full-bodied, umami fish dipping sauce. Apart from the pork cha siu, this also comes with a chicken cha siu which really surprised me by how juicy and tender it was. Loved the soft-boiled egg too as no bowl of ramen is complete is without it!

— This is a Hong Kong exclusive menu item and a must-try when coming here! If you’re a fan of rich, thick, ramen broths, then this is the choice for you. The broth makes use of chicken feet, pork knuckles, pork bones and dried fish which is then cooked for 18 hours to create something so delicious. This bowl is served with a thinner type of noodles, ensuring that the broth gets soaked in and every bite is bursting with flavour. It’s also topped off with their soy simmered fatty pork cha siu that was so tender and juicy, as well as a abundance of chopped onions to keep the flavours fresh and perfectly balances out the rich flavours of the broth.
