My friend brought me to this place for a quick lunch. We arrived before 12:30p.m. so there was no queue despite its central location.I ordered a $58 set choosing 1 type of soup and 1 type of noodles/bread. I picked 海派牛腩羅宋湯 with linguine. The soup tasted really quite good, seemingly free of MSG, and it was not too oily. However, the beef briskets were of pretty low quality because they were way far from being tender, maybe they were just too thin. The linguine was average and it was not such a go

 I ordered a $58 set choosing 1 type of soup and 1 type of noodles/bread. I picked 海派牛腩羅宋湯 with linguine. The soup tasted really quite good, seemingly free of MSG, and it was not too oily. However, the beef briskets were of pretty low quality because they were way far from being tender, maybe they were just too thin. The linguine was average and it was not such a good idea to eat linguine with soup because the linguine just couldn't absorb the soup. 

The slightly higher-than-average rating on service was credited to one of the waiters who were so polite and kept asking customers for their comments on the food.

Maybe I was just too hungry that day. I felt hungry about 30 min after finishing the soup and linguine.
