I ordered a cake set upon visiting - an early grey basque burnt cheesecake and iced americano. The cake was really creamy and the coffee was great, what really disappointed me was the staff attitude.I had sat down at 1pm, with no prior notice to the dine in time of 60 minutes. Half way through my food at about 50 minutes, a staff member came over to let me know that my dine in time would be up in 10 minutes… And precisely at 2pm, the same member of staff came over with a check and asked for me t
I had sat down at 1pm, with no prior notice to the dine in time of 60 minutes. Half way through my food at about 50 minutes, a staff member came over to let me know that my dine in time would be up in 10 minutes…
And precisely at 2pm, the same member of staff came over with a check and asked for me to pay the bill even though I was barely done with my food.
I understand the peak time of dining in during lunch hours, but if the restaurant is stringent on the 60 minute dine in, it would be courteous to mention at the outset instead of waiting until the very end to bring it up.
Overall great food, but very disappointing service.
