Menu is in English and Chinese. There is no 10% service charge. You order and pay with barista who will bring your order to you when ready. They have a variety of coffee using beans roasted from Taiwan. They also have a limited menu. That day they were focusing on chili paste from a Taiwanese brand.
They also have a few items to eat but there is a limit of one item only if you order a drink.
For cakes, you are to check the menu at the cashier as that is updated. The printed menu is out of date.
It was hot out so I decided on an ice latte ($45). I was given the house blend. It was nice. A little sweet and a bit fruity. The amount of milk was just right.
Boyfriend had the Wintermelon Latte with Brown Sugar ($65). This came with an extra little glass of wintermelon tea. It said on the menu it was brewed for 12 hours. It was quite good. The amount of sweetness was perfect. The other bottle was the latte mixed with the wintermelon tea. I wasn't too sure about it. But somehow the coffee was more creamy. I'm unsure why. I wasn't a fan of this but boyfriend loved it.
We shared a cake and had a Pitaya Earl Gray Tea Cake ($58). This didn't look picture perfect but it was a really good cake. The slice was easy enough to share without fightin over it. The cake was soft and moist. There was a subtle taste of Earl Gray. The cream was cloud-like.
Sandwiched between the layers was slices of red dragon fruit that were sweet and refreshing. This was excellent cake.
Would definitely be back if in the area. A great little place for a break.
